Medicor Cancer Centres' patient services are designed specifically to optimize care
for patients living with cancer. Medicor Cancer Centres does not replace the care of
the specialist or family physician, but follows a multidisciplinary shared care model.
This helps you, (the family physician or specialist) in a number of ways:

1. By co-ordinating and facilitating various treatments, we lighten your workload, allowing you to focus on what you do best!

2. By providing 24 hour personalized physician on-call, we help solve small problems before they become big ones. This prevents patients from coming to you in a crisis, and improves their care.

3. By maintaining a centralized record of the patient’s medical history, current drugs, allergies and treatments, we make information exchange among various hospitals, labs and your office transparent.

4. With our proprietary Portable Electronic Health Record (PEHR™), when you see your patient, you have instant access to their latest medications, treatments and test results at the point of patient contact. This does not require internet access! Visit our Technology Section

5. Our patient volumes are kept very low to provide personalized care. Because our physicians are paid on a salary plus fee-for-service, we keep our patients volumes very low (limited to 1:50). This allows us to focus on giving patients every opportunity to ask us questions and to learn about their illness. As a result, visits with you become more efficient, and patient satisfaction is enhanced.
