What if my doctor does not believe in private health care?
Our patients sometimes ask us about how their doctors might react if they joined Medicor Cancer Centres as some doctors may not believe in private care.
All patients have the right to explore the best care options for their cancer. They should be able to make informed choices about their care without having to worry about upsetting their existing health care providers. We find that most cancer care providers are respectful of an individual’s rights and choices about their care. It is considered professional misconduct if a doctor stops seeing someone if they decide to go to a private clinic.
